The Daily Star Turns to Online Dating for Extra Income

In a time when the economy is struggling in general, it has become especially desperate for print media who has not only seen print advertising decrease dramatically in the past years, but has also been struggling to stay afloat as more and more newspapers and magazines dump physical pages for the World Wide Web.
As a result, Express Newspaper Group is now turning to online dating to help make ends meet. The Daily Star will be the first of the publications to offer the online dating service on their website. The new online dating site will be powered by White Label Dating and hopes to cater to readers of The Daily Star. The site will be cross promoted both online and in print.
Other Express Newspaper Group publications include OK!Magazine, Star Magazine and Daily Express. Although the new online dating site will only be offered through The Daily Star to begin, the Express Newspaper Group hopes to attract advertisers and sponsorship deals which they hope will allow them to implement online dating on all of their online outlets. You can visit The Daily Star online at www.TheDailyStar.com.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
