The Potty Break – what does this tell your date?

The potty break was initially developed as a way for a woman to refresh herself during a date allowing her to look her best. However, it’s use has been mutated into a worped “pick your date apart extravaganza” is he handsome? would you date him? blah blah blah opinion after opinion… it has become a loose pillar in modern dating culture.

Women are using it death, to the point it’s become pitifully obvious, Not good it’s predictable which in essence makes women who use it predicatble. Most men at one point or another have faced the dreaded potty break “bail me out of here routine” and it’s gotten old.

Men want to know that that if you’re in relationship, it’s with him and not your friends opinions as well. Most men feel it’s challenging enough trying to impress one women much less ‘her look out crew’ that he hasn’t even met.

“Potty breaks” are a “No No”, it’s especially unwise if you’re dating more experienced wealthy men. This sends a less than stellar message to your date – ‘you either don’t have an opinion of your own, or you respect your friends opinions more than your own’ , that simple.

Confident men focus and take seriously confident women. Women who follow others opinions are seen as trophy dates, flings, and one night stands… (your friends opinions are important but they should never overshadow your own).

Remember if you must pull a potty break stunt, be original and discreet about it, don’t have your friend(s) rush over to the table or booth, giggling like some drunken teenager(s) and making some “obvious” excuse to go to the restroom. Try having your friend go to the restroom first then, excuse yourself and slowly follow, exit at separate times as to not draw attention to this stunt, a dating novice may not pick up on this, but it wouldn’t slip pass a pro.
